Who can join GLYPN?The network is free to join! Anyone can sign up for our mailing list and receive information about upcoming events. We encourage early career individuals with specific interest in the Great Lakes.

What age defines a young professional?“Young” is subjective! Individuals under 40 currently make up the majority of our network. However, we encourage those who have taken an interest in the Great Lakes as a second or third career choice to join and network as well.

How can I get involved?Joining our mailing list is the first step to getting involved with GLYPN. Here, you will receive notifications about upcoming events and programs. If you would like to support the network financially to help us host more screenings and larger events, please contact greatlakesypn@gmail.com.

Do I have to live near the Great Lakes to be a member of the network?Nope! Most of our members are located in states and provinces neighboring the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River, but there are plenty of instances where your work or interests may be done from areas away from the immediate vicinity. We do occasionally host in-person meet ups in areas where there are many members, but you are welcome to join ones closest to you or virtual events.
